The Open Doors Scholarship 2027 offers international students and young researchers the opportunity to pursue higher education in Russia through a competitive international scholarship program organized by the Global Universities Association.
The program offers opportunities at Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral (PhD), and Postdoctoral levels across a wide range of academic fields. Winners of the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral tracks may receive the right to study tuition-free in Russia under the Government of the Russian Federation quota.

Eligibility
Open to international applicants from all countries.
Bachelor’s: Applicants must have completed or be completing their general secondary education.
Master’s: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be completing their bachelor’s degree during the competition year.
PhD: Applicants must hold a master’s or specialist’s degree or be completing one during the competition year.
Applicants must complete the required online portfolio and entrance test.

Applicants can select between 1 and 6 Russian universities when submitting their preferences. The final university placement depends on the availability of the chosen study program and the applicant's competition results.
